Trumpets From Around the World

Greg Hammontree’s new album “Trumpets from Around the World” features his original genre-defying compositions for an incredible variety and combination of horns. The many sonic perspectives he achieved in his work are accomplished by only two performers: Nicole Brancato (www.nicolebrancato.com) on keyboard/electronics, and himself on 18 different trumpets.

The album was officially released on bandcamp.com on September 8th, 2020. Hammontree will be giving a global Zoom presentation of his work for anyone who would like to learn more about the new pieces on September 13th, 2020. This presentation will feature a dynamic panel of experts leading the conversation, including painter Omar Chacon, brass specialist Jesus Viramontes, and writer/pianist Lana Norris.
