Used 1933 Bach Stradivarius 7-10-62 Bb cornet in good condition. The 7-10 bell is a hybrid of Bach’s 7 and 10 mandrels, a design that eventually evolved into the 25 bell, while the “62” refers to its large .462" bore. It plays with a colorful and powerful sound that holds together well even at extreme dynamics, as well as very good intonation, response and valve action. We gave it a professional cleaning and precision valve alignment, and compression is best with a slightly thicker oil like Yamaha Vintage. About 70% of the original lacquer remains, with evidence of repairs to the leadpipe, bell, and main tuning slide, but nothing that affects playability. Comes with the original Bach NY 7C mouthpiece and case (both in fair condition), as well as the original lyre.
