This very affordable shepherd's crook model cornet punches well above its weight, with an easy blow, good intonation, and a versatile sound suited to anything from jazz and concert band to British brass band depending on the mouthpiece you're using. The .459" bore makes it a fantastic choice for trumpet players looking to double on cornet, and the gold brass bell and leadpipe warm up the sound nicely.
