New Gen. 2 Midtown Brass flugelhorns from J. Landress Brass! These are fun, easy to play, and inexpensive flugelhorns that are great for all ages and ability levels! We have upgraded the valve block design on these instruments for a more comfortable and ergonomic grip. These flugelhorns play better and easier than ever! This flugelhorn features a 2-piece Couesnon/Yamaha-style 6" yellow brass bell, perfect for show doubling and your favorite Chuck Mangione tributes. Fast stainless steel valves, a responsive .433" bore, 3rd slide trigger with uniball linkage, and 3 water keys make this flugelhorn very easy to play with great intonation through the registers. Comes with updated Midtown single flugel case and custom Midtown By AR Resonance mouthpiece (around a Bach 3 rim diameter) made specifically for this flugelhorn. Intonation and resistance are spot on all the way up and down the horn! 

Midtown flugels accept a small Morse (Bach) shank flugelhorn mouthpiece. All Midtown trumpets and flugels have received a professional cleaning, precision valve alignment, and are play tested to insure consistency and quality through the line. We also include a case, an AR Resonance mouthpiece, and a bottle of Yamaha valve oil.
