Couesnon Bb Flugelhorn

Used Couesnon flugelhorn in lacquer w/ Amado waterkeys. This modern Couesnon made in France plays quite well with a French-taper flugel mouthpiece, with good valve action on the bottom-sprung valves and a characteristic dark flugelhorn sound. We gave it a professional cleaning and precision valve alignment, and about 90% of the original lacquer remains, with some wear at the hand contact points. There's evidence of repairs here and there, especially near the bell engraving, but no signs of severe trauma or red rot. No case.
