This used Kanstul 1525 flugel is in very good condition, with some evidence of repairs along the bottom branch but practically no lacquer wear. There are a couple very small pings in the bell but they are extremely minor, otherwise the horn is in fantastic shape. It plays with an absolutely huge sound and is free-blowing, thanks to the slightly more open bore and large one-piece copper bell, as well as the straight-through tubing in the valve block. After we cleaned the horn, we gave the valves a precision alignment, and they move smooth and fast. This has been the flugel of choice for many of the greats (for at least part of their careers), from jazz star Arturo Sandoval to late-night legend Doc Severinsen. This is a great opportunity to get one of these sought-after flugels -- they are somewhat scarce since Kanstul went out of business. Comes with a ProTec triple gigbag.
