Brand new Schilke 1040-FL Bb flugelhorn in lacquer. This small-bore flugel is extremely agile and offers lots of flexibility and a wide dynamic range. The valves are spectacular, and the sound is absolutely gorgeous with tons of warmth and not too diffuse. Comes with Schilke gigbag.

The 1040 FL Flugelhorn offers a smooth, warm characteristic sound while maintaining an even, controlled feel throughout the range of the instrument. It includes a 3rd valve trigger and two leadpipes providing different tapers for small as well as large shank (tapered mouthpieces). A custom leadpipe designed for use with French taper mouthpieces is available by special order.
