This used Yamaha YHR-671 double French horn began life as a fixed bell and then got an aftermarket bell cut, resulting in some minor lacquer loss around the Houser bell ring as well as the solder joints where the bell was taken off to perform the cut. The ring threads are Alexander-compatible (not Yamaha), so you'll have a ton of options to add flares from other manufacturers. Other than that, the horn is in fantastic shape, with no signs of significant trauma. We gave it a professional cleaning and precision rotor alignment; the rotors are virtually like new, with excellent compression. This is a fantastic horn for pros and aspiring pros alike wanting a versatile Geyer-wrap horn. Comes with original (fixed-bell) case.
