Used 1952 Benge Chicago 3X ML Bb trumpet in silver plate, with original case. This trumpet is stamped "ML" but we measured all of the tuning slides at about .468" indicating it's actually a large bore, and it plays like it -- an absolutely huge colorful sound that resonates extremely well. We gave it a professional cleaning and precision valve alignment, and compression is very good with Yamaha Vintage oil, while valve action is stellar. There’s a little bit of plating loss on the first valve, but it’s not near the valve port, so it doesn’t cause any air to leak. The horn was replated very well at some point, and the new plating is 100% intact with just a few surface scratches and evidence of a small bell tail repair. There's also some evidence of damage to the bell bead in a two spots, but nothing extreme or that affects playability. This is a very fine-playing horn that would be at home in any playing situation. Comes with original case.
