Used 2019 Schilke Soloiste SB4-OT Osamu Takahashi model in silver. This is an excellent trumpet for orchestral work but it's well-balanced enough to make a great all-arounder, with a powerful, focused sound that has a very satisfying combination of core and brilliance. Slotting and intonation are both excellent, and the horn responds extremely well even at the softest dynamics. We gave it a professional cleaning and precision valve alignment, and there are some surface scratches here and there as well as evidence of minor bell flare repairs, but no serious trauma, plating loss or red rot. No case.
