Used Bach 1X (1970's Vintage)

Used Bach 1X (1970s vintage) in very good condition. Rim has some very minor imperfections but no plating loss. The shank also has some very minor wear but no deep insertion marks or plating loss. The 1X is based on the Mount Vernon 1, and it has a slightly fatter rim but narrower diameter than the modern Bach 1. The alpha angle inside the cup is lower than a 1 1/4C, which means there's a steep drop just inside the rim, giving your chops plenty of room to vibrate. It's a deep cup, perfect for situations where you need to play primarily in the middle register, like Beethoven's "Leonore".
