This used Bach Mercedes II student trumpet dates from around 1977. Bach enthusiasts: Note that the serial number for this model (unlike its predecessor the Mercedes) actually comes from Bundy, not Bach, and thus does not match up with Bach serial number lists. We gave it a good cleaning and put some fresh felts on the valves, and it's ready for band class! It also makes a great backup horn for parades and other places where you might not want to bring your high-end superhorn. It's missing just a little bit of lacquer on the leadpipe and main tuning slide, but other than that it's in great cosmetic shape. It plays well, with plenty of resistance and a bright, clear tone. The valves have plenty of compression and move very smoothly and fast. Comes with original case.
