Oil: Yamaha Slide Lubricant and TrombotineUsed 1938 Martin Handcraft Imperial Committee tenor trombone with a 1957 Martin Committee handslide, in good condition. We gave it a professional cleaning and applied a scratch-brushed finish with polished accents to the raw brass. There’s evidence of prior repairs, as well as some plating loss on the inner slide tubes, but the horn plays well and has a compact, lively, and colorful sound. We measured the dual bore at .475"–.482", making this a true small-bore “pea shooter” that’s a lot of fun to play. It’s a great choice for jazz or marching band work, and also a fantastic collectible option for trumpet players who already own a Martin Committee and want a matching trombone. Comes with an MTS hard case in excellent condition with school stenciling on the exterior.
