This used 1977 Holton TR181 bass trombone has dual inline independent rotors, and it is in good playing condition. We gave it a full professional cleaning and a precision rotor alignment, and about 95% of the original lacquer remains on the bell section while about 85% remains on the slide. There's evidence of minor repairs to the bell and main tuning slide, as well as several repairs to the handslide, but sign no severe trauma, and nothing that affects playability.
In our playtests, this vintage TR181 has very good slide and rotor action and a huge, powerful sound in the lower register, making it well-suited for a variety of ensemble or solo situations. Comes with the original case in good condition.

The chrome plated nickel silver inner handslide tubes provide the ideal surface for smooth and quick handslide action.
