Oil: YamahaThis used 1978 Bach Stradivarius 16 tenor trombone has a lightweight Bach 12 slide, King 2B crook, and Brad Close 32S modular leadpipe. We gave it a professional cleaning, and it is in very good condition despite only about 20% of the original lacquer remaining. No signs of significant trauma or heavy repairs (other than the bell being cut of course). The smaller-bore lightweight 12 handslide gives the horn more resistance than a 16 slide, as well as faster response, and a more compact commercial sound. The 2B crook is rounded, giving it a more open feel to balance out the smaller bore a bit. Great for players looking for lots of agility in a darker-sounding horn. Comes with original Bach case.
