Oil: Trombotine and YamahaUsed 1985 Bach 42 large bore tenor trombone in lacquer, good condition. This vintage Bach 42 has about 50% of the original lacquer left on it, but it's in very good shape for its age. There are a few very minor imperfections in the bell near the rim, but other than that this horn is dent-free. Slide action is good with a mixture of Trombotine and Yamaha slide lubricant, and the horn plays very well with a full, fat sound that speaks easily in all registers and dynamics. No case.
FROM BACH:
The Bach 42 trombone features an 8-1/2" one-piece hand-hammered yellow brass bell that has defined the symphonic sound for generations. The .547" large bore offers outstanding clarity and projection.
The chrome plated nickel silver inner handslide tubes provide the ideal surface for smooth and quick handslide action. The clear lacquer finish adds a subtle warmth to the sound overall. The Bach Stradivarius 42 professional trombone is ideal for both symphonic and solo performance.
