Oil: YamahaThis used 1986 Benge Symphonic 190F large-bore tenor trombone with F attachment is in very good condition. Manufactured in Eastlake, Ohio, it retains about 90% of its original lacquer. There are a few minor dents in the bell flare and main tuning slide, but otherwise the horn is in great shape with no issues that affect playability. We gave it a professional cleaning and precision rotor alignment, and the slide and rotor action are both excellent and feel smooth and responsive.
It plays with a broad sound and dependable response, making it a great step-up horn for students and intermediate players. It sits in a similar world to a Conn 88H in terms of role and versatility, and would be very comfortable in concert band, orchestra, or large ensemble settings.
Comes with the original case in very good condition, with working latches and springs. Also comes with the original Benge 6 1/2AL-L mouthpiece in excellent condition.
