Oil: TrombotineUsed 2005 Bach Stradivarius 42 large bore tenor trombone with F attachment (standard rotor) in lacquer. We cleaned this classic symphonic tenor and gave the rotor a precision alignment; the lacquer is 95% remaining, with plenty of scratches and minor blemishes but not much actual lacquer wear. The slide outer tubes and crook have a bit of red rot, but this is easily managed with proper care. There's also some evidence of minor repairs on the bell flare and tuning slide, but nothing grievous or that affects playability. It plays with a rich, full sound that projects very well. This is a perfect choice for small-bore tenor players who occasionally need to double on a large bore horn, or for college students looking for a great symphonic trombone without breaking the bank. Comes with original case and Bach 5G mouthpiece, both in very good condition.
