Brand new Adams TB1-AF Bb/F tenor trombone in lacquer. This dual-bore trombone has an axial flow Thayer valve and a one-piece bell, giving it an open feel, excellent response, and rich sound that's perfect for symphonic and solo work. The Adams TB1-AF tenor trombone lets it actions do the talking. Musical actions, of course. The instrument features a patented Axial Flow valve that completely eliminates the metal-to-metal contact found in other designs. The use of sealed bearings assures tight tolerances that will resist wear over time, making the instrument extremely durable and reliable.
The TB1-AF comes standard with 8.5” (217.5 mm) one-piece hand-hammered yellow brass bell in 0.60, and a single bore yellow brass slide with chrome plated nickel silver inner slide. These choices, combined with the 0.547” (13.9 mm) large bore, the Axial Flow valve, and the open short wrap F attachment, produce a beautiful warm sound with an open feel that you have never experienced before.
