Used CarolBrass CTB-2229-YST-YNNN-Y3 tenor trombone with F attachment, in excellent condition. This is a fantastic medium-bore tenor (similar to a King 3B) for players looking to bridge the gap between small- and large-bore trombones. We gave it a professional cleaning and precision rotor alignment, and both the slide and rotor action are like new. There’s no significant lacquer wear apart from a few extremely minor scuffs, and no evidence of repairs. It plays with a brilliant sound that projects extremely well, thanks in part to the yellow brass bell and nickel silver handslide outers and crook, making it a great fit for jazz as well as lighter orchestral playing. It’s a very easy trombone to play, with a squared open wrap and an upper register that speaks more easily than a typical large-bore tenor. Comes with the original case and mouthpiece.
