Store-demo Rath R10 small bore straight tenor trombone in lacquer. There's a good reason Conrad Herwig plays a Rath R10 like this one: It has all the flexibility and brilliance you'd ever need for the most complex passages in jazz and commercial music, combined with a rich tone and plenty of clarity and brilliance. The 7.5" bell is made of yellow brass, as is the main tuning slide, and the nickel silver handslide provides much of the horn's cutting power. Comes with #10 brass leadpipe and Rath case.
Please note this is a STORE DEMO item and sustained a small dent to the bell flare from a mouthpiece drop while on display in our shop, which we repaired, but the instrument is otherwise in new condition. We have discounted the instrument to reflect this. FROM RATH:
The choice of instruments for jazz, commercial, pop or funk style playing is wide, Michael Rath offering 4 different models. Decisions regarding “single” or “dual bore” slides are easily accommodated. The “single bore” choices are the R10 (0.500”) and the popular R2 (0.510”) models whilst the “dual bore” instruments are the R12 (0.481”/0.491”) and R1 (0.500”/0.510”).
