The Rath R2 is a small bore straight tenor that excels in virtually any playing situation from jazz and commercial to rock and latin music - it’s even great for Broadway shows, which often encompass many different playing styles. This model has an 8” yellow brass bell for a clear, full sound, which is balanced by a nickel silver handslide for brilliance. It can cut through any size ensemble without sacrificing core so you can easily go from salsa or Tower of Power hits to lush ballads or small group jazz. The cutting power comes in part from the nickel silver handslide. Comes with brass main tuning slide, standard #2 brass leadpipe, and Rath case.
