Used Shires Custom large-bore tenor trombone with lightweight nickel TB47NLW handslide. This big tenor plays with a very open feel and huge, warm sound thanks to the gold brass bell and wide bass handslide crook, but it can bark when needed too, and the lightweight slide gives it a very quick response. It's an excellent choice for symphonic instrument for strong players. The modular bell braces and leapdipe gives this horn some extra versatility as well. We gave it a professional cleaning and precision rotor alignment, and it has about 85-90% of the original lacquer remaining with some brass wear/pitting at the hand contact points. There's evidence of repairs to the bell flare and one of the tubes going into the rotor, but nothing that affects playability. There's also some surface scratches here and there as well as a small pit in the bell tail. No case.
