Used 1927 Conn 22B New Symphony gold-plated Bb/A trumpet w/ full kit. It has the gorgeous and distinctive "Pan" engraving by legendary Conn engraver Julius Stenberg that goes all the way up the bell to the back turn. There's no pinky hook or 1st slide saddle, as was popular in that era. The main tuning slide pulls to A, or you can use the alternate tuning slide with the Bb/A valve for an even quicker tuning change. It plays with a surprisingly open feel and very full, vibrant sound that belies the small bore/bell combination; this nimble setup would be at home in a soloist's hands, though it would be excellent for all-around playing as well.

We gave this nearly 100-year-old beauty a professional cleaning and precision valve alignment, and the compression and valve action are very good with Yamaha Vintage. Amazingly, the original gold plate is completely intact, and apart from a little bit of surface wear here and there and a small ding on the receiver, this horn is in fantastic shape. Includes original case, main tuning slide w/ change valve, mute, mouthpiece adapter, visible embouchure mouthpiece, lyre, cleaning rod, and the original warranty.
