This nearly 100-year old Keefer Bb/A trumpet in gold plate has absolutely stunning bell engraving that's still very sharp, and the inside of the bell is hand-hammered to look like leather grain. We gave it a professional cleaning and precision valve alignment, and despite the valves have no plating left they move well and hold decent compression with Berp 3 oil. The plating is completely intact, with just some surface wear and a a small dent in the bell flare that we chose to leave alone due to the hammered inside. It plays well with a robust, focused sound that projects well, and the horn responds very quickly thanks to the . It comes with an extra main tuning slide for A tuning, the original wood cleaning brush (not recommended for use due to deteriorated bristles), Keefer 1 and 3 mouthpieces, and a lyre -- all very efficiently held inside the original contoured case.
