This lovingly restored New York-era Bach New York 7-10-62 is a gorgeous piece of history, circa 1935! The bell is a precursor to the 25 bell - it's a hybrid of the 7 and 10 bells. It balances very well with the 6 leadpipe and large bore, giving the horn a colorful sound suitable for any playing situation. We cleaned and stripped it, and it's in good shape for a 90-year-old horn. There are still some imperfections in the bell bead and rim, as well as some scratches here and there, but it's in very good overall shape and plays very well. The valves move well and hold good compression with a thicker oil like Berp 3. No case.
