This used 1939 Besson Meha Bb trumpet is a large-bore model, and it's in great shape for begin almost 90 years old! It was relacquered at some point, with most of the new lacquer remaining intact except for a few small areas, and the valve compression and action are both excellent. It plays very open with a powerful sound that can both cut and blend depending on mouthpiece choice, and intonation and response are both very good -- a fantastic lightweight all-arounder. We gave it a professional cleaning and precision valve alignment, and apart from some evidence of minor repairs to the bell flare and tail and some surface scratches, the horn looks very clean and the leadpipe is free of red rot. Comes with the original case in good condition.
