Oil: Yamaha LightThis used 1953 Bach New York Stradivarius medium-bore Bb trumpet has a Bach 7 leadpipe in raw brass made by O'Malley Brass Instruments, and the rest of the horn has about 85% of the original lacquer remaining. We gave this pre-Mt. Vernon Bach a professional cleaning and precision valve alignment, and it recently had a full valve rebuild so the valve action and compression are like new. It's a serious player, with a bright, powerful sound that efficient use of its medium bore to produce quite a bit of bark. Response is extemely fast, partly thanks to the .341" venturi. The horn plays extremely well and would make a killer horn for commercial music or lead playing. No case.
