Used 1954 Besson Brevete Bb trumpet in raw brass, good condition. This vintage Besson plays with a beautiful dark sound that is easy to color and can change significantly based on your mouthpiece setup. The vertical wrap is somewhat narrow, which contributes to excellent projection. We gave it a professional cleaning and precision valve alignment; there's evidence of numerous repairs and a patch on the 2nd slide but no serious trauma or red rot. Valve action and compression are very good with a thicker oil like Berp 3. Please note this is a raw brass instrument, and the finish will patina over time. No case.
