This used 1955 Blessing Super Artist Bb trumpet is in really good shape, with approximately 90% of the original lacquer remaining and no evidence of significant repairs or red rot. It was made shortly after the company switched from the underslung third valve slide ring to the top-mounted design. We gave it a professional cleaning and precision valve alignment, as well as a complete valve rebuild, so the valve action and compression are like new! Despite being a large bore horn, the horn is nimble and responds quickly and cleanly with a powerful sound that brightens nicely with a shallower mouthpiece without losing any body. This a great fit for jazz players, especially those chasing that classic Clifford Brown sound, but it really can work in any playing situation. Comes with the original case in very good condition, as well as the original warranty card!
