Oil: Yamaha LightUsed 1959 Bach Mt. Vernon 37 Bb trumpet with original lacquer in very good condition. This horn has a fresh valve job and a new Bach 25 leadpipe installed and lacquered here in our shop. The original lacquer shows some wear throughout the horn, with about 80-85% of the original lacquer remaining (not counting the leadpipe), and there are signs of a few past repairs, but no red rot and nothing that affects playability. Thanks to the fresh valve job, compression and valve action are like new. Like the best of the Mt. Vernon-era trumpets, this horn has a warm, colorful sound with excellent richness and depth that can be joyous, mournful, and anything in between. Slotting and intonation are fantastic, and the feel is best described as comfortably open.
Comes with a Bach Mt. Vernon case in good condition; latches work but springs do not.
