This used Conn 6B Victor Bb trumpet is absolutely gorgeous with contrasting matte and polished silver plate, from the collection of the late Tony Gorruso, a renowned New York City trumpeter known for his work with Frank Sinatra, Gypsy, Miss Saigon, and many other major productions and recordings. It has a "tall" wrap and #1 (.438") bore along the lines of the more-famous Connstellation 38B but with a much smaller bell. We gave it a professional cleaning and precision valve alignment, and aside from some minor imperfections in the leadpipe, a small flat spot on the bell bead and light surface wear here and there, it's in very good shape. There's no red rot, no plating loss and no signs of serious trauma, and we found compression is best with Berp 2 oil. The horn plays with a full sound and plenty of brilliance without being shrill, and the small bore and small bell make it very agile. Comes with original case in good condition; the latches work but the springs don't.
