This used 1963 Bach 37 Bb trumpet was made in the final year of production at the Mt. Vernon facility before the company moved to Elkhart, Indiana. It's in very good condition; we cleaned it and gave it a precision alignment as well as a installed small protective patch on the 1st knuckle. Compression and valve action are very good with a somewhat thicker oil like Hetman 3. There's no evidence of serious repairs or read rot, just some very minor surface wear on the receiver and some slightly uneven spots on the leadpipe, as well as some minor wear on the 1st and 3rd upper balusters. It plays on the darker/rounder side, with a comfortable feel, as well as excellent slotting, intonation and response--an excellent example of a 37 from one of Bach's peak periods. The original case is in good overall condition, with working latches but non-working latch springs.
