Used 1964 Leblanc Al Hirt Autographed Model Bb trumpet in raw brass, very good condition. This signature model dedicated to one of New Orleans’ greatest trumpet players, Al Hirt, plays with an exciting, fiery sound worthy of its namesake, plus it has the distinctive “Al Hirt” name in raised letters on the side of the bell. Other standout features include the coin on the main tuning slide brace and engraved ferrules.
We gave it a professional cleaning and precision valve alignment, and aside from small blemishes on the bell’s back turn and the leadpipe, and evidence of very minor repair to the bell flare near the rim, this vintage horn is in fantastic shape with no red rot or signs of severe trauma. The valve action and compression are very good with a slightly thicker oil like Hetman 3. No case.
