Oil: Yamaha LightUsed 1965 Bach 72MLV Vindabona Bb trumpet w/ gold brass "Corporation" bell (early Elkhart). Raw brass, excellent condition, fresh valve Job, complete restoration except for lacquer. We did a complete restoration (short of relacquering) here at our shop, including a professional cleaning, stripping the remaining lacquer, a full valve rebuild, and a high polish. The result is one of the finest vintage instruments ever to come through our shop. The step bore balances the gold brass 72 bell incredibly well, giving you that big, warm 72 sound with much less effort than a standard ML model. Flexibility, intonation, response, are all as good as it gets, and the valve action and compression are both like new. Apart from some minor surface wear here and there, as well as evidence of some repairs to the bell flare and bell tail, there's no evidence of major trauma or red rot. This represents the best of Bach's craftsmanship from the early Elkhart days immediately following the Mt. Vernon period--two of the company's most heralded manufacturing eras. No case.
