This used 1970 (early Elkhart-era) Bach 38 in polished raw brass is perfect for players looking for the ease and fluidity of a medium-bore trumpet but who still want to retain enough warmth for all-around playing. We cleaned it and gave it a high polish and precision valve alignment; it's in very good shape with some minor surface scratches here and there, as well as excellent compression and valve action. The 38 bell is similar to the 25 bell but a little less aggressive-sounding; it's standard on Bach's medium bore trumpets, much like the 37 bell is standard for ML bore horns. We'd recommend this for small group jazz or any mic'ed commercial playing situation. Comes with original case and leather case cover, both in excellent shape.
