Used 1971 Burbank-era Benge 2X (ML bore) in good condition. This classic ML bore horn from the end of Benge's Burbank era is in great shape with almost completely intact silver plate, and it plays with a lively, bright sound with a fantastic upper register, best suited to jazz and commercial music -- truly a joy to play! The valves hold about 85% compression (with thicker oil like Berp 3) despite significant plating wear. It's fresh out of our repair shop, where it received a professional cleaning and precision valve alignment. There's some evidence of a few repairs here and there, but all were done well and nothing that affects playability. No case.
