Used 1977 Bach Stradivarius LT18043 Bb trumpet in lacquer, in very good condition. This vintage 43 lightweight is a very lively horn, with the brilliance and quick response you’d expect from this configuration, along with excellent intonation and top-notch valve action. We gave it a professional cleaning and precision valve alignment, and compression is excellent thanks to a Dr. Valve rebuild at some point in its life.
This trumpet was also relacquered at some point, and the finish looks great except for some minor acid bleed near the rim and 1st slide saddle. There are a couple of protective patches, one on the bell tail and another on the knuckle where the main tuning slide enters the third valve casing, along with evidence of some minor dent repairs to the bell and first and third slides, but nothing severe. There are no signs of red rot in the leadpipe. Does not come with a case.
