Used 1996 Bach Stradivarius 180S37 Bb trumpet in good condition. We gave this well-used horn a professional cleaning and precision valve alignment, and we found valve compression best with a thicker oil like Berp 3. Cosmetically, it's got some wear -- plating loss at the contact points on the valve casings and third slide, as well as evidence of repairs here and there, and a tiny bit of red rot in the leadpipe and main tuning slide (easily managed with proper care). The valve action is very good, and it plays with a rich tone that skews a little to the darker side. Response and intonation are both very good. This is an excellent all-around horn for the advancing student or pro on a budget. No case.
