This is the 2008 edition of the New York 7, which eventually became the LT180S77 after a short period of production. It's a lightweight one-piece #7 bell and body with a 7 leadpipe and long receiver, plated in silver with gold-plated slides and trim. We gave it a professional cleaning and precision valve alignment, and the result is a gorgeous horn that plays its butt off. There's a bit of surface wear throughout, but the plating is 100% intact and there's no red rot. It also has Saturn waterkeys (factory-installed) which are extremely convenient since you can press them in any direction to empty water. The large bore is very manageable without making you feel like you're going to fall into it, and the horn plays with a thick, full sound that's extremely even all the way up and down. Slotting and intonation are superb, and the valve action and compression are like new. Comes with original case in excellent shape.

It also has a #7 mouthpipe with '30s-style receiver. Other features include a .462" large bore, first and third slide rings, a third slide stop assembly, semiprecious stone finger buttons, bright silver-plated finish, gold-plated slides and trim. The 197 offers just the right amount of resistance with a quick response and great projection.
