This used J. Landress Brass Custom Bb trumpet with copper bell and leadpipe was built in 2011 by Josh Landress. We gave it a full professional cleaning and precision valve alignment. Overall condition is good, with some surface wear and cosmetic scratches, as well as a light patina. There’s evidence of minor repairs, a small imperfection on the top of the bell near the valve block, and some minor discoloration around the tubing leading into the valve block. Valve action is good, and compression is solid with Yamaha Vintage oil.
The horn has an extremely warm, rich sound that's ideal for small ensemble work, but with a shallower mouthpiece, it can brighten up and project enough to cut through in larger groups, giving it plenty of versatility. No case included.
