Used 2022 Lotus Universal in brushed raw brass, excellent condition. This is an original European-made Lotus, and although the model is specified on the company's web site with a 5 1/8" bell, this comes in slightly bigger at 5 3/8". The yellow brass stem and phosphor bronze flare contrast nicely, as do the other yellow brass and bronze components. We gave it a professional cleaning and precision valve alignment, and it's in fantastic shape with no significant wear, damage, or red rot. This Universal plays with a very warm, powerful sound that's easy to modify by swapping among the three included main tuning slides -- nickel for brighter, bronze for warmer, or yellow brass for that classic trumpet sound. The horn is easy to play despite the big bell, and the valve action and compression are both excellent. Great for soloists looking for a lush trumpet sound, but versatile enough for any jazz/commercial situation. Comes with daCarbo double case.
