This used 2024 Del Quadro Il Capo Bb trumpet in raw brass with an acid burn stain/finish is in very good condition. DQ’s newest model is light and agile with a vibrant sound that cuts through any ensemble. The small-diameter yellow brass bell gives it a focused voice that’s right at home on commercial and lead gigs, and the flat bell bead really helps you hear yourself on the bandstand.
We gave this horn a professional cleaning, precision valve alignment, and a refresh on the finish. Valve action is excellent, and compression is best with a slightly heavier oil such as Hetman 3. Cosmetically, it's in great shape, with the raw brass acid burn finish giving it a distinct, modern look. The blue and white finger button inlays—and the matching inlay on the third slide stop screw—are a gorgeous touch that set it apart visually.
