This used Van Laar B9.3 Bb trumpet in silver plate is in excellent condition. We gave it a professional cleaning and precision valve alignment, and it shows no plating loss and only a few light surface scuffs. Valve compression and action are like new, and the valves are among the smoothest and fastest we’ve had through the shop.
The bell is based on a Bach 43 taper, and the horn is very free blowing with a powerful sound and extremely quick response. It’s an excellent all-around trumpet, though it truly shines in commercial settings.
