We started with a 1964 Benge valve block, leadpipe, and main tuning slide. We replaced the receiver with an original Benge stock one, and we sent the valves for a rebuild to our good friend Mark Metzler at Metzler Brass in Elkhart, IN. Then we had Miles O'Malley fabricate a vintage Besson Meha bell copying a few of our prized Besson Meha's. We finished it off with a professional cleaning, precision valve alignment and high polish. This very special bell speaks! At soft dynamics, it has a warmth and deep tone, but when pushed, it has the brilliance and fire of Conrad Gozzo! This is a one-of-a-kind custom horn you will not find elsewhere. No case.
