Used Conn Vintage One 1B-46 Bb trumpet in silver plate. This Conn V1 is in very good shape and is an extremely versatile horn, with some fine-tuning options including an extra rounded main tuning slide and sets of modular bottom caps (one cap in the kit, however, is a standard-weight cap). The valves feel even shorter-throw than they really are thanks to the slightly recessed top caps, with very good action and compression, and the 46 taper leadpipe has a wonderful open feel that is especially effective in the upper register. The sound is broad and powerful, with excellent response at all dynamics and spot-on intonation. We gave it a professional cleaning and a precision valve alignment, and apart from some surface scuffs here and there the horn is in fantastic shape, with no red rot or evidence of serious repairs. Comes with original briefcase-style case in very good condition.
