Used Edwards X-13 Bb trumpet in silver plate, in nearly like-new condition. Its distinctive bends give it a very modern look, while the overall design brings the bell closer to the player than on most trumpets, giving you a little more immediate feedback behind the horn. We gave it a professional cleaning and precision valve alignment, and compression is excellent. There’s a bit of surface scratching on the third valve slide, and a minor scuff or two, but otherwise there are no significant marks or scratches and no evidence of repairs. It plays with a very centered sound that’s incredibly easy to color, with amazing slotting and response and intonation that are at the top of the pack. Valve action is superb as well. This is one of the best all-around trumpets we’ve had through our shop, with the flexibility to feel at home in just about any playing situation. Comes with the gorgeous and distinctive cream-colored leather case.
