Used Lawler C7 in gold plate, very good condition! This horn was inspired by the highly sought-after large (#3) bore Martin Committee that so many of the jazz greats played, and it was previously owned by the late NYC trumpet educator Jameson Chandler (hence the custom engraving on the side of the bell). We gave the horn a pro cleaning and did a precision alignment on the valves. The plating has some fading here and there and is worn in a few spots on the valve block and underside of the bell stem, but overall it is about 95% intact. It plays with a big, beefy sound that's very even and in tune throughout the registers. Like its inspiration, the C7 XL is very free-blowing with wide slots and a sound that's easy to color. Valve action and compression are good, and all the slides move as they should. No case.
