Used Shires Model 4F C trumpet in silver plate with raw brass WEB leadpipe. This C trumpet plays extremely well, with a remarkable amount of core, somewhat similar in tone to a Bach 239, thanks to the #4 bell taper. Intonation, response and projection are all excellent. We gave it a professional cleaning and precision valve alignment, and valve compression and action are both fantastic. The horn is in very good condition overall, aside from some plating wear at the contact points, some surface scratches here and there, and some evidence of minor repairs. Case not included.
