One of Van Laar's most popular Bb trumpets, the B5 is a standard weight horn with a tall wrap along the lines of a Conn Connstellation 38B. The bell has a more conical shape giving it a broad and warm sound that still sparkles in the upper register. Slotting is spot on yet still easy to manipulate and bend. Highly recommended for all-around playing. Please note this is a demo model and may show extremely minor signs of having been played at our shop such as a scuff, but is otherwise in new condition and comes with all original extras including Van Laar dust bag and care kit. No case.

FROM VAN LAAR:

The B5 is also of standard-weight material. Its bell with a more conical taper allows for greater sound projection and imparts a somewhat dark and warm sound. In the upper register the timbre is brilliant and voluminous without sounding strident.
